10 DIFFERENT recipes for Taco Tuesday

Do your kids (or maybe just you) do Taco Tuesday? Like you do it so much that it's every week, which means 4 times a month you are eating some version of Tacos? What's more --> is it the SAME recipe every week? If you answered yes, then you need to bookmark this post because it will help add diversity to your month! I'm going to share with you, my family tested {and passed} taco recipes so that you can have DIFFERENT recipes during the month, instead of the same ole repeater. If that's sounds like what you need, then keep reading. For those of you that went - ehh, not really - then go back to the www.mealplanningtips.com front page and find a post that will help you. On the right side, there is a pull down menu of ALL the posts with their recipes. :)

Ok back to TACO TUESDAY. After you make these, I hope that you will comment and share what YOUR crew thought about them. I'm going to categorize them into the protein used. So if you have chicken, then look under "chicken recipes". :)

GROUND BEEF or TURKEY:

Simply Turkey Tacos:
Taco Shell Boats
Brown a one pound of Ground Turkey and drained the little it produces. Add a 14.5 oz can of Petite Diced Tomatoes and 1TBSP Simply Salsa (2 if you want it spicy). Bring it to a easy boil then put on lid on the skillet and dropped the temp to LOW and cooked 15 minutes. Follow the Taco Shell directions to  warm them.  Spread a little sour cream on the bottom of the Taco Shell. Fill with a few spoonfuls of the meat mixture. Top with lettuce and cheese.

You can also use ground beef or ground chicken, if you do not want to use ground turkey. I've made this recipe several times and have found that turkey is the family's favorite. We also eat this over corn chips, tortilla chips and in salads. Quick Tip: DOUBLE the recipe, as it makes great lunch leftovers.

Traditional Beef Tacos:
Brown 2 pounds with 2 TBSP Onion Onion and 2 tsps Seasoned Salt. (you can use Ground Beef Bags to save time). Drain grease and put back on stove. Add one 28 oz can of Crushed Tomatoes and 1 TBSP Fiesta Party Dip. We also eat this over corn chips or tortilla chips.

PORK and/or Other Meats:

 Pizza Tacos
Brown 1 pound of sweet ground pork (you can use mild or hot, however we like the sweet). Drain the little grease it makes. Add
15 ounces tomato sauce, 2 TBSP Dried Tomato & Garlic Pesto,
1 TBSP Onion Onion, 4 oz jar of sliced mushrooms (drained), 1/2 cup mini pepperonis (I used the Hormel no nitrate regular size and cut them in 1/2).
