Chicken Cacciatore is a meal loaded with veggies that your kids will eat! You only need a handful of ingredients to make a hearty Italian meal. I made a quick 6 minute video (below) to show you just how simple this can be for you to save money by making it in your Slow Cooker.
You will need:
2 lbs Chicken (boneless breasts)
28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
1 large zuccinni
2 medium squash
2 TBSP Tastefully Simple Dried Tomato and Garlic Pesto
1 TBSP Tastefully Simple Onion Onion
7 oz can of drained mushrooms
1 frozen bag of 3 Pepper Blend
1/2 cup of water
***Before making the Freezer Meal, you can place your chicken breast into a ziploc bag and slice your squash for ease in assembling the meal***
When ready to cook - pull from freezer and place in Slow Cooker to cook on low for 6-8 hours. You may need to thaw, slightly, in order to break the meal if your Crock is smaller.
