Marinara Meatballs

I know that many of you know all about using meatballs in a slow cooker. You have probably done it as an appetizer for a party or other gathering that you've had in your home or office. However, MOST of those recipes probably involved some sort of jelly, jam or BBQ sauce. Am I right? Well, what if I told you that you could make DINNER, yes an actual MEAL for your family by tweaking that "meatball recipe", just a tad?  If you are nodding your head, then you need to read on and SAVE this to your bookmark ;)

In the Crock of a Slow Cooker, add 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes, 1/2 cup of water, 2 TBSP Dried Tomato and Garlic Pesto, 1 TBSP Onion Onion. Mix well. Add a 32 oz bag of frozen meatballs (we like Cooked Perfect brand). Coat well with sauce. Slow Cooker 2-3 hours.

* Can be made to go in the freezer by adding all the ingredients to a Gallon Size Freezer Bag. Place in freezer to cooker later. Slow Cook for 4-5 hours from frozen state.*

These are SO GOOD for dinner or even lunch. We've had these for Sunday Lunch, MANY times. It's so easy to put in the Slow Cooker, before Church, then come home 3 hours later to eat. No line, No waiting -even better No Check to pay- at a restaurant. My crew likes them in a bowl, with nothing else. Occasionally, I'll make some pasta for it. Or for a TREAT --> bread. YUM! Yes, if I have to choose between pasta and bread, then I'm picking BREAD. teeheehee  Anywho, whoever you are feeding will LOVE these meatballs. Whether it's just your family or a crowd (double recipe) of people, there will be no leftovers. ;)
