Chocolate Cherry Dessert

This is not my creation. I found it on the Tastefully Simple website and was very intrigued that a cake can be made in my Slow Cooker. OMG! It was OUTSTANDING. So moist and when I flipped the contents out in the container it looked FABULOUS. This is a dessert that I will take places, y'all!

I cooked it on High for 4 hours and we ate it after Wednesday night Bible Study. Of course, I took step by step pix for you to see, as so many want those instead of just print. :) I also found out that you can use the Absolutely Almond Pound Cake. You can also use Apple or Peach Pie Filling, as well. I will be doing that one next as the sound of it makes my mouth water. So be sure to try BOTH versions.






 


Chocolate Cherry Dessert

Ingredients
2 (21 oz.) cans cherry pie filling
Classy Chocolate Pound Cake Mix
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) melted butter
1 cup water
Whipped cream

Directions





Pour both cans of pie filling
into a greased slow cooker.












Combine Classy Chocolate Pound Cake,
water and butter; stir to blend.
Pour batter over pie filling.









Cover; cook on high about 3 hours.
Serve warm topped with whipped cream.
Makes 8-10 servings
