Fiesta Cheese Ball


Ever been asked to bring something to a shower, party or other gathering and not know what to bring? Or do you sometimes need to make a cheeseball and think you have no ingredients for it? Well, if you have Tastefully Simple seasonings on your spice rack then you got what you need!


Yes, we sell different flavors of savory cheeseballs that change every Season. HOWEVER, you can make amazing cheeseballs with our Standard Seasonings--Fiesta Party Dip, Spinach and Herb Mix, Bacon Bacon, Onion Onion, Garlic Garlic, Dried Tomato and Garlic Pesto.

It's done pretty much the same way with each Seasoning, except the kind of cheese will differ. Most of them will work with Shredded Cheddar, except S&H and DTGP. You really want to use a milder cheese with those like Mozzarella or Parmesan--even an Italian Blend Shredded Cheese would work well. Just mix a capful (2TBSP) of seasoning to 8oz cream cheese and then add 1/2 cup shredded cheese. Let in set in the fridge for a few hours. Then if you want you can roll it in chopped nuts, like pecans. Very easy and OH SO GOOD!

Here is the recipe for Fiesta Cheeseball that I made for a baby shower yesterday. It's from the TS Recipe Search on the TS website. I used 2 TBSP (capful) and it was HOT! Lotsa folks loved it, however if I was making it for me than I would've only used 1 TBSP to cut the heat a little ;)

Fiesta Cheese Ball

Ingredients
1-2 Tbsp. Fiesta Party Dip Mix™
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Chopped pecans

Directions
Combine first 3 ingredients. Shape into ball; roll in pecans. Refrigerate 2 hours or until ready to serve. Makes 6 - 8 servings.
