The Ultimate Marinade

I've been using this for years. This is the ONLY way I grill my steak! I will also use for chicken and pork chops either on the grill or baked in the oven. You only need soak the meat for about 5-10 minutes--basically long enough to heat the grill or the oven. No need to put it in the fridge overnight, so this is AWESOME for those times when you just want to "throw something on the grill". This is the recipe that I talk about at my parties to have "the steak melt in your mouth"

The Ultimate Marinade

2 Sticks Butter--melted
4 tablespoons Merlot Sauce
2 tablespoons Garlic Garlic
1 tablespoon Seasoned Salt

Oven Directions--Preheat to 350. Mix all ingredients in a large casserole dish. Place meat in dish coating both sides. Place in oven for about 30 minutes , depending on thickness of meat.

Grill Directions--Preheat grill. Mix all ingredients in a large casserole dish. Place meat in dish coating both sides. Spray grill with non-stick coating. Put meat on grill, and wait one minute then turn meat over. Wait another minute then turn again. Brush extra marinade on top and close lid. Turn meat after 5 minutes and brush more marinade then close lid. Continue process till desired doneness.

You can also use The Quick Marinade to make the best ever Cereal Mix by putting marinade in a big roasting pan. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Add one box Corn Cereal and one box Rice Cereal. (Nuts, pretzels and such are optional---I always only eat the cereal anyway, so that's all I use). Mix until each piece is coated with mixture. Bake for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes
