Homemade Bread Crumbs

This is a simple and easy way to use bread that is about to go stale. It also a way to have whole wheat breadcrumbs, because you can use whole wheat bread. You will need a food processor or a blender that crumbs. You can use either Seasoned Salt or Garlic Garlic. I like Seasoned Salt with wheat bread and Garlic Garlic with white. Your choice though. These will keep in the fridge for a while, so it's great to keep them made up for when you need them.

Ingredients:
your choice of sliced bread, doesn't matter how many
margarine spread
Seasoned Salt OR Garlic Garlic

Directions:
Turn your oven on Broil or if you are only cooking a few slices you can use the toaster oven. Spread margarine on each slice and sprinkle with Seasoned Salt OR Garlic Garlic and place on cookie sheet. Toast until hard and crunchy but NOT burnt. Remove from oven. Tear bread into pieces and put in food processor. Crumb the bread. Place in an air tight container in the fridge till you need them.

4 pieces of bread is about 1 cup of bread crumbs
