Easy Shephard's Pie

I found this recipe online a few years back and have made it so many times that I've lost count. It's very easy to put together, especially when you have your ground beef bags in the fridge (see Quick Meals with Ground Beef if you have no clue what I'm saying). Having your GB bags to use AND leftover mashed potatoes makes cleanup a snap because it's now a ONE Dish recipe. Easy cleanup with only the corning ware and the plate/silverware used to eat. If you don't have GB bags, then you will need to brown the ground beef with 1 tsp Seasoned Salt and 1 TBSP Onion Onion before you can follow this recipe. This recipe assumes that the meat is already cooked. This is very kid friendly too. Both my kids eat it up.

about 1 pound of browned ground beef
1 can of tomato sauce
1 can of green beans (I like french style)
1 can of kernel corn
1 package of Instant Mashed Potatoes (Betty Crocker Homestyle is closest to homemade you can also use leftover mashed potatoes here too instead of instant)
1 tsp Garlic Garlic
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Prepare Instant Mash Potatoes according to directions and add 1 TSP Garlic Garlic to the liquid content in the pan (before you add flakes) OR remove leftover potatoes from fridge. Preheat oven 350 degrees. Spray a oval corning ware dish or the like with non-stick spray. Empty the GB bag (or drained ground beef), can of sauce, corn and beans into the dish. Mix well. Potatoes should be done now. Spread them over the top of the meat mixture to where it's covered. Sprinkle cheese over the mash potatoes. Bake for 30 minutes. It's great to serve in a bowl by itself or on a plate with your choice of bread. Makes 4-6 servings
